About Ha’Bayit

Ha’Bayit means home. Not just the structure, the rooms, the materials, but the feeling of being exactly where you’re supposed to be. With the right people. The right things. The right energy around you.
We believe the spaces you inhabit shape you as much as you shape them. When a space is designed with true intention around the way you actually live, think, and feel, it stops being a backdrop and becomes an extension of who you are.
That’s why we listen before we design. Every material, every proportion, every detail begins with understanding you, not imposing a style, but uncovering what home means to you specifically.
This is what Ha’Bayit builds. Not just beautiful spaces. Spaces that feel like yours.

About Me

Lila Sarraf

Owner

Lila was born in Los Angeles, raised in Israel, and returned to LA nine years ago, carrying with her a deep appreciation for the warmth, materiality, and human scale that define Mediterranean living.

Design has always been at the center of how Lila sees the world. Years in sales and management sharpened something most designers never develop: the ability to truly listen, to read people, and to understand what they need before they can articulate it themselves. She formalized that passion with a Bachelor of Architecture from SCI-Arc. But the instinct, the empathy, the ability to sense a space and what it can become before a single wall is built — those came from somewhere else entirely.

Ha’Bayit is the intersection of all of it. A studio built on the belief that the best spaces don’t come from imposing a vision. They come from deeply understanding the person who will live inside one.
